Meet Dr. Jordyn Kreke, a board-certified pediatrician returning home to serve families in Effingham and the surrounding communities. A Newton native, she grew up as a patient at Family Care Associates and is now coming full circle to care for the next generation. She will begin seeing patients in August 2026, and is currently accepting new patients. Dr. Kreke completed her undergraduate studies at Saint Louis University and earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. She then completed her pediatric residency at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, where she was selected to serve an additional year as Chief Resident. Dr. Kreke provides care from newborn visits through adolescence, including management of chronic conditions such as asthma and ADHD. She values continuity of care and the trust that develops over time.
